Naknek River starts in Bristol Bay and is 35 miles. This Alaska fishing lodge ”Bear Trail Lodge” is right on the river. You can fish right from the front of the lodge for all 5 salmon species as well as rainbow trout. The guide also will get you by floatplane to other fishing areas. Fishing season:
Rainbow trout June 8 – October 15.
King salmon June 15 – July 31.
Red salmon June 20 – July 20.
The biggest salmon run is right in front of the lodge.
Silver salmon July 28 – September 25.
