Day 1 - Fly into Fairbanks. Transfer via hotel courtesy shuttle and overnight in Fairbanks, the Heart of the Interior. Meals: N/A
Day 2 - Today learn how the gold rush affected Alaska's interior on a sightseeing tour with an included visit to the University of Alaska, Fairbanks Museum. Time is available for shopping, walking or dining on your own in the downtown area. Cruise on the Chena River aboard a sternwheeler and experience the thrill of river travel. Travel back to the time when traditional riverboats plied the waterways of Alaska’s interior during the late 1800’s. Tonight, authentic salmon bake. Overnight Fairbanks. Meals: B
Day 3 - Ride the motor coach south to Denali National Park. Enjoy an afternoon of exploring this pristine area at your leisure by either participating in a complimentary park service activity or speak to your tour director to purchase optional tours such as mild or wild river rafting, flight seeing Mt. Denali, a jet boat safari on the Nenana River or a visit to the award winning dog kennels of Iditarod champion, Jeff King. Tonight, Denali Dinner Theater. Overnight Denali. Meals: B
Day 4 - Today travel deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour and search the pristine wilderness for bear, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep. This six to eight hour journey is narrated allowing for insight into the animals, flora and fauna of this spectacular region including a snack on the bus. Early May & September tours are shortened due to road conditions. Overnight Denali. Meals: B, S
Day 5 - Enjoy a morning of leisure for on own exploration. This afternoon board the world famous Alaska Railroad for the day trip to Anchorage. Watch for a glimpse of the majestic Mt. McKinley or black bear along the banks of the Susitna River. Overnight Anchorage. Meals: B
Day 6 - Enjoy a brief tour of Anchorage, with a visit to the Alaska Native Heritage Center, a gathering place that celebrates, perpetuates and shares Alaska Native cultures. Tonight, feast on an Alaskan style meal at an included dinner. Overnight Anchorage. Meals: B, D
Day 7 - Your adventure continues with a rafting tour at Spencer glacier. By bus to portage. From here by train to the glacier. Return by coach to Anchorage. Overnight. Meals: B, L
Day 8 - Going South by bus to the Kenai Peninsula. Along the Turnagain Arm. Watch out for dall sheep and whales. Optional tour: by helicopter to the glacier. The huskies are waiting. I you like you can be your own musher. In Seward visit the Exit glacier. Overnight in
Seward. Meals: B
Day 9 - Boattour at the gulf of Alaska. Sea otter, sea lion, eagle can be seen on this tour. And the calving glaciers. Return to Anchorage to overnight. Meals: B, L
Day 10 - Transfer to the airport for the flight home or continue on one of our other tours.
